Meet Our Kids

The Building Blocks for Kids Adopt-A-Child  program allows our donors to specify to which child they want 100% of their donation to be applied.  Donations can be made by sending a check to BB4K at the address listed at the bottom of this page or by clicking on the child's name in the blue box to the right of this page which will take you directly to that child's online donation page

Therapy for Kids

  • Therapy for Kids will assist children who have no financial ability to pursue therapies their doctors have recommended.  Some therapy options include Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy, Aqua Therapy and several types of Intensive Therapy.

Hearing and Communication for Kids

  • Hearing and Communication for Kids provides devices and programs which help a child interact with the world around him/her.

Medical Equipment for Kids

  • Medical Equipment for Kids provides for equipment and supplies necessary to sustain or improve the quality of life for a child.  Some examples of this might be medication, specialized formula, medical machines, prosthetics, and special beds.

Building for Kids

  • Building for Kids addresses quality of life home modifications for children with special needs.  Some of the types of requests that will be filled through this program will include wheelchair ramps, expanded doorways, and minor bed/bathroom expansions.

Mobility for Kids

  • Mobility/Transportation for Kids deals with transportation assistance required for a child’s medical needs to be met.

Caring for Kids

  • Caring for Kids addresses various other miscellaneous needs that improve the child's quality of life.  This might include displacement expenses, adaptive clothing, and adaptive strollers.
