Past Events On Thursday evening, August 20, 2009, Dr. Joel Saeks held the grand opening of his new Chiropractic venture. He invited Building Blocks for Kids to be a part of the grand opening and he collected several raffle items in order to raise money for BB4K. Through raffle sales and donations at the event, he raised $170 for us!! View photo galley here.
BB4K Cornhole Tournament ~ The Backyard Bar in Reading
 BB4K held its first Cornhole Tournament thanks to The Bankyard Bar in Reading. On Saturday, August 22, 2009, 20 teams competed for the 1st place prize of $500! Pictured here are the top 4 teams who all took home winnings that evening. Through the main tournament and a fun impromptu tournament of 10 teams later in the day, along with raffles, food sales, etc, BB4K raised more than $1800! 2009 Run, Walk, and Roll ~ We would like to thank all of you who came in support of Building Blocks for Kids! Despite the stormy weather, our turnout was great and YOU have made a difference in the lives of several children! Also, thanks to all who bought split-the-pot tickets. Because of the constant rain, most of you wisely hopped into your cars after the run. So we decided to wait until we were all dry and warm to select the winning ticket. A total of $53 worth of tickets were sold leaving the split at $26.50. The winning ticket number is: 634609. 2008 Golf Tournament Thanks to all of the participants and sponsors for a great golf tournament! Click here to view and download photos of the event. 2008 Benefit Fun and Funds! Over $21,000 was raised at BBK's 2008 Annual Benefit, Viva Las Vegas. The event was held at Sharonville Convention Center on March 1st and included a Live Auction sponsored by Meyer Capital Management, silent auction, raffles and other activities, great food from Village Pantry and music by Great Day Productions. Jenn Jordan of Q102's Jeff & Jenn in the Morning served as emcee for the night. Over 200 guests were touched after hearing from two of our BBK families about their experiences. Don't miss out on all the fun at next year's benefit themed 'Off to the Races'! 2007 October 5K Run/Walk On October 14, 2007 Family, friends, and neighbors gathered at the Ronald Reagan Voice of Freedom Park in West Chester for the 1st Annual Building Blocks for Kids 5K Run/Walk. Thanks to all who came out to share in the excitement and come together in a united effort to raise awareness and support for Building Blocks for Kids. Your participation has helped to brighten a child’s future. Look for the 5K to be even bigger & better in 2008! 2007 Toyota/WEBN Fireworks Riverboat Cruise What a perfect way to celebrate the end of summer…the weather was great and we had the best seats in the house for the greatest show in Cincinnati.
